3M Inadine (Now Solventum Inadine) (PVP-I) Non-Adherent Dressing is a low-adherent viscose fabric dressing impregnated with 10% Povidone Iodine (PVP-I) in an ointment formulation containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) and purified water.
Previously supplied under 3M Healthcare, the product is now manufactured and distributed under Solventum following the transition of 3M’s healthcare division. Customers may receive packaging labeled Solventum Inadine, while the product specifications and intended use remain unchanged.
The dressing is designed to help protect the wound bed, minimize adherence during dressing changes, and provide broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity. Inadine has demonstrated in-vitro effectiveness against MRSA and other common wound pathogens, helping reduce bacterial burden while protecting delicate granulation tissue and minimizing patient discomfort during dressing removal.
It is suitable for use on ulcerative wounds, minor burns, traumatic skin injuries, and chronic wounds including diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers.
